Dreams of Relief

At the end of a weary day's road,
Every moment heavy with its load,
Time moves slowly with pain's accord,
Every day follows the same old hoard.

As you lay your head on the pillow's embrace,
I'll stay by your side, in this quiet space,
Carrying the weight of your worry and care,
Leaving a tender kiss in the night air.

In the dreams where heroes stand tall,
Riding swiftly to answer love's call,
I'd send a white dove soaring for you,
To bring solace and hope anew.

Under the covers, in the warmth we find,
In the dim-lit room, where shadows unwind,
As tired eyes gently close to sleep,
Towards peaceful dreams, we softly leap.

Sleep descends, offering a brief reprieve,
Bringing moments of calm to believe.

In the dreams where heroes stand tall,
Riding swiftly to answer love's call,
I'd send a white dove soaring for you,
To bring solace and hope anew.

Bearing the burden till the day is through,
Every evening, it takes its due,
Sapping strength with its relentless strain,
A full day's worth of enduring pain.

Sometimes darkness clouds our sight,
In realms where pain holds might,
If only it were just a dream's sway,
Where pain vanishes with the dawn's first ray.

Could you bear the pain and fight,
Until the day breaks into light.

In the dreams where heroes stand tall,
Riding swiftly to answer love's call,
I'd send a white dove soaring for you,
To bring solace and hope anew.

In the dreams where love's light shines bright,
I'd rush to your side in the darkest night,
With gentle kisses, I'd wake you from pain's snare,
So you could live your life without despair.
