Crumbs Of The Light

I lie awake, your shadow on my skin
These hollow nights let the silence sink in
But I hold the flickers that never decay
Tiny sparks that won't be torn away

The world moves on, but I still feel the break
The days roll by, and I just play fake
But somewhere deep, a faint ember ignites
I gather the crumbs — the last of the light

I build my strength from shattered grace
And wear your memory like a brace

I reach for you in morning’s glow
Where your warmth once used to flow
I wear the past like armor tight
Surviving storms with crumbs of the light

I walk alone through noise and smoke
Your name still caught in words I choke
But when the dark begins to bite
I hold the glow — I hold it tight

The smallest joy, the softest sound
Still keeps my broken heart unbound

I reach for you in morning’s glow
Where your warmth once used to flow
I wear the past like armor tight
Surviving storms with crumbs of the light

These fragments won't replace the whole
But they’re the shield around my soul
And when I fall, I still recall
You gave me light — you gave it all

I reach for you in morning’s glow
Where your warmth once used to flow
I wear the past like armor tight
Still standing strong — with crumbs of the light

With crumbs of the light
